Go Pro has introduced the Hero4 Black camera which offers more advanced performance. The new Hero4 Black camera features an improved image quality and a more powerful processor with double frames rates speed compared to the earlier Hero3 model.
The new Hero4 Black camera is the first camera of its kind to feature ultra high-resolution with 4K video 30fps and 1080p HD footage at 120fps. The video is of professional quality with stunning clarity, fast action can be recorded at in smooth slow motion at high resolution.
The video mode features SuperView, to capture an immersive wide-angle perspective helping the user to record themselves and their surroundings. It comes with an inbuilt microphone to record clean, high fidelity sound, in addition, it comes with an integrated ADC (analog-to-digital converter) making it compatible with a wider variety of professional low-sensitivity external microphones.
The Hero4 black camera has a 12MP camera to capture single photos. The Time Lapse mode enables you to shoot still photos automatically at set time intervals from 0.5 to 60 seconds. Hero4 camera can be used in the most non-predictable environments, but in case you need to interchange between capturing video and still photo, the QuikCapture mode helps you to power on and start recording automatically with the press of a single button. When the button is pressed and released it starts to record video, but when pressed and held for two seconds, it captures Time Lapse photos.
The camera also features new settings in New Protune that unlocks manual control of Color, ISO Limit, Exposure in both photos and videos which enables you to record with minimal compression while customizing settings.
Hero4 Black camera night mode
The Night Photo and Night Lapse modes help you shoot during the night and low light scenes with customizable exposure settings of up to 30 seconds for single and Time Lapse photos. The Auto Low Light mode enables you to interchange between bright and dark scenes without having to adjust your camera settings by intelligently changing its frame rates.
The Hero4 black camera does not have an LCD to monitor what you are recording but it features GoPro App that connects with a phone or tablet enabling you to view the recording live mode. You can also use the phone or tablet to control all functions, settings, and playback. You connect with other devices using either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Additionally, you can control the camera remotely by using the Hero4 Black camera Smart Remote which allows you to control multiple GoPro cameras from distances of up to 600’ (180m).
